At Psychological Associates, we believe that leaders aren’t born, they’re made. Inherent in this belief is the celebration of personal development, of the ability to change one’s circumstances, and of the value of seeking and giving help. With over 60 years of experience helping others learn to be better communicators and leaders, we are excited to announce the Q4 Community Leadership Grant program.
The St. Louis region has thousands of nonprofit organizations, all working to build a better community in some form or another. These organizations are driven by their missions — their connection to the community’s need — and for this reason, the internal, organizational development of such organizations often takes a backseat.
We know that successful development of team leaders isn’t a low-level priority — leading a team or a community to achieve a goal takes vision, clear communication, and an understanding of how people behave in teams. To help local nonprofits develop their best leaders, we are offering them the opportunity to apply for the Q4 Community Leadership Grant.
Q4 Community Leadership Grant
For the remainder of 2019, Psychological Associates will donate two seats at each of our flagship Leadership Through People Skills® workshops to community organizations and nonprofits through our Q4 Community Leadership Grant application. Qualifying organizations must demonstrate how leadership development supports their mission, and indicate how the learning and skills gained at our workshop will be put to use for the betterment of the community they serve.
Applications for both the October and December workshops are open now.
Psychological Associates will announce the grant recipients for the October 8 – 10 session on September 9th, 2019. The recipients for our December 17 – 19 session will be announced on October 1st, 2019.
