Psychological Associates is pleased to announce that we’ve added another psychologist to our team of highly skilled business consultants.
David Rowan, Ph.D. has been a Licensed Psychologist for 15 years, with 10 years of experience as a supervisor, mentor, and trainer of other professionals. His professional experience includes working at St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute and the St. Louis VA Health Care System.
His specialized skills include assessment processes, instrument selection; interpretation; individualized interviewing; and integration of cognitive, personality, and functional factors into clear, concise, and meaningful feedback.
Dr. Rowan has an extensive background in instructional design and implementation, with a focus on tailoring training experiences for professional learners. He provides individualized performance-oriented coaching for C-Suite executives, with an emphasis on training professionals to improve communication skills and intervention outcomes. He holds an undergraduate degree in psychology from Grinnell College, and a graduate degree and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He has led workshops and training seminars at the national, regional, and local levels.
Dr. Rowan is a Member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers and a Certified Master Trainer with the Veterans Administration. He volunteers for Meacham Park Neighborhood Improvement Association, Operation Food Search and the Alzheimer’s Association.
